Quilt Minnesota & Honeybun Giveaway Continues...

Quilt Minnesota began yesterday... Quilt Minnesota is a statewide shop including 83 quilt stores featuring limited edition Quilt Minnesota fabric and prizes such as fabric blocks, patterns and charms along the hop.

This morning I went to my LQS, Eagle Creek Quilt Shop as I have been eyeing this fabric online since it was previewed. Eagle Creek Quilt Shop is in a historic train depot building here in Shakopee, Minnesota where I live... it is gorgeous building that is warm and inviting and chock full of impeccably pieced samples. They were gracious to let me take a few photos to share.

While online ordering is convenient when you have small children (and I do, do my share of that!), I also try to periodically visit the brick & mortar shops in my area as I am so glad to have them. You can see more great photos, as well as information on classes and their upcoming outdoor garden & quilt show on Eagle Creek's website, http://www.eaglecreekquiltshop.com/index.htm

In addition to my Quilt Minnesota fabric, I found some Neptune which I was looking for to complete a bag, some Sandi Henderson, and the very elusive American Jane ovals! (Even in my fav color RED!)

So if you live nearby, consider participating in Quilt Minnesota, it goes on through August 16th.

To be included in the drawing for the Soiree Honeybun on occasion of my 25th post, click here , entries are accepted until Wednesday, August 5th - midnight.

We just had our big So. CA quilt shop run and it was fabulous. I will have to go online and check out your shop since I can't visit in person. I love that Neptune fabric. It's a Moda, isn't it?
