Sunday Stash: Glorious Color by Kaffe Fassett

After the tease last week with the Kaffe Fassett book title, it seemed appropriate that his fabrics should be the feature of this Sunday Stash. I love how his designs are so rich, bright and random.

As you can see I gravitate to the browns especially. Many of these fabrics I have purchased at this LQS, which you might find of interest if you are in the area.

I find his quilt designs very inspiring, even if you have not been drawn to them in the past I suggest checking out one of his books the next time you visit your local library. I think anyone would enjoy the remarkable combinations of fabric and design and be pushed creatively to think a bit more nonconventionally in their own work.

You can see more of Kaffe Fassetts' designs on his website.

Those are some seriously gorgeous prints. Do you have a project in mind for using them? Or are you like me, going to sit and admire them for awhile and let inspiration hit on it's own?

I have always loved his fabrics. He does amazing things with his designs that simply cannot be duplicated. You can always tell a Kaffe fabric.
