Sunday Stash: KJR & FMF by Denyse Schmidt

This is my stash of Denyse Schmidt's Katie Jump Rope collection. It is destined for a queen size Single Girl Quilt (pattern by Denyse Schmidt also) for my guest room/sewing room. If the Farmers Almanac is right and we get a long, bitter cold winter with lots of snow... it just might get done this winter!

You can see the prints a little better here, my favorite is the design at the back in the orange and brown. I need to see if I can find more in the other colors.

Denyse has another collection that is out of print, Flea Market Fancy that is just phenomenal (sadly I have NONE!)...and there is a move to get Free Spirit Fabric & Denyse to reprint it. Check out the Flea Market Fancy Freaks blog to sign the petition and get more information.

I shouldn't wish for a long winter for you, but it would be nice to see your project finished up. ;)

I love the single girl quilt, too. I think I am going to have to purchase Denyse's upcoming line to make it.
