I hope you all had a chance to check out all the wonderful quilts and blogs this past week during the Blogger's Quilt Festival. Thanks again to Amy @ ParkCityGirl for organizing it. If you missed it, you can still check out the links from Amy's blog. I know I stayed up way too late a few nights looking at all the quilts.
It has been a busy week here. I've been working on a few quilting projects (I included just a peek of one above!)and halloween costumes. We were intending to go to my parents in ND this weekend since it is fall break, but ended up staying home due to an ice/freezing rain warning (in October?!). The trip would have just been too short for the 1200 miles round trip if we would have waited for the weather to clear.
Since we stayed in town, I was able to sneek in a Fabric Fieldtrip and will end up spending about two days bonding with Benjamin Moore (desparately needed painting!). This weekend is supposed to be a bit warmer here so we plan on checking out the apple orchard or pumpkin patch. Hope you have a nice fall weekend.
