Christmas Quilt as You Go Table Runner

Sometimes it seems like there are an endless number of preschool teachers, church school teachers and others that it would be appropriate to give a little gift to during the Christmas season. This year I decided to try to make a few of these gifts from my stash.

This is a runner made with an Out of the Blue pattern, Fat Quarter Runner that is strip pieced and quilted as you go AND uses only 4 fat quarters (plus binding and backing). I decided some of my more traditional fabrics were in order for the recipient I had in mind.

These fabrics are from an assortment of Nancy Halvorsen fabrics for Benartex.
