Fig & Plum Four Patch Doll Quilt

This is a simple four patch doll quilt I made for one of my nieces using a Fig & Plum charm pack. As I went along I came up with a bit of a pattern with the dark & medium toned color pieces and then filled in with the light and medium neutrals. I used some of the remaining charms to piece a row (including the label) across the back. This is a very simple layout that I think would be great for a table topper with a single or double border.

After I had this laid out, I found another cute four patch project using a charm pack by Monica at the Happy Zombie. Check out her photo stream on flickr for many variations of this project of hers' that was featured in the Summer 2008 Quilts and More.... And of course, the Moda Bake Shop has many additional projects featuring charm packs.
