Friday Night Sew In

I decide to join in on the Friday Night Sew In at the last minute. Tonight my husband and older son are going to an NBA game, so I'm going to put the household stuff & laundry on hold and see how much sewing I can get done in the company of just my 3 year old. Once the big boys leave we're going to have a simple supper and head downstairs...

First on my list is a sample block for the 3x6 Sampler Bee. For this bee I make a block for each of the 6 individuals in my hive with my own scraps. I pick the block and they pick the colors.

After that I plan on working on my DQS8. I want to get a few more blocks/chunks done so I can contemplate the final plan.

If I can get beyond this, a few wonky log cabins are next up from the ORB quilt along.

Sometime tomorrow I'll post my progress since my camera is going to the game tonight!
