For Me

I'll be spending a few days at my parents over the holiday weekend, so I wanted to bring a little quilting project to try free motion quilting on someone elses' machine since I hope to replace my rather antiquated (but efficient) machine in the next year or so.

I quickly pieced the sides of this charm friendly bag from this Bags, Pillows & Pincushions issue of Better Homes & Gardens of using an Authentic by Sweetwater for Moda charm pack. I think the black, chartreuse & oatmeal colors will be great for this transitional time of year.

What kind of machine do you have? I would love to get a sewing machine that I could quilt with. I just have my trusty little Kenmore, and can only quilt with a walking foot.
