AQS: Blog of the Week

This week I was selected by American Quilter's Society as the Blog of the Week from their weekly contest on Facebook. I have found that some organizations & stores utilize Facebook more than a blog as a way to interact with members & customers and have started to follow a few pages there.

American Quilters Society is dedicated to inspiring quilters and the importance of quilts and quiltmaking. They are well known for their shows...most recently Paducah, Kentucky. There is a Lancaster, PA show and in the fall they also have a show in Des Moines, IA which would be the one closest to me...(but the Des Moines show falls during ND Pheasant opener and the Fall Festival in Houston usually falls during MN Deer Hunting - I think there a few traditions at my house that are going to have to change in the next year or so!)

Thank you to AQS for featuring my blog and be sure to check out their website for lots of good info!
