For part of my May Swap at the ORB Quilt Along Group, I made my partner a grocery bag holder and a few potholders from a Fresh charm pack. I quilted the bag holder, which is a Moda Bake Shop tutorial, in a three line by three line grid with a variegated green Aurofil thread that I had on hand.
The potholders were a bit thick for my machine so I stuck to a simple grid pattern. With the thickness of the potholders (2 layers warm & natural and 1 layer insultbrite), I learned that next time around I need to make a wider binding strip for a nicer finish.
So these items and a few other goodies are on their way east...could it be for you?
