On to results, the WINNER of the GO! cutter & three dies is:
Shelley @ freed indeed!
Shelley email me at badlandsquilts@gmail.com with your address and I will forward it on to Accuquilt. Early this week I received the Dresden Plate die for my GO! cutter that was originally backordered. I decided to make a test block to try it out. I had read (somewhere?) that people were requiring more fans than directed so I kept my seam allowances rather scant. My Dresden lies nice and flat but the center section is a bit small and the plate a bit large (13") so I think if you follow the directions it would turn out perfectly. (Rather than try to outsmart the system which I did not.) The Dresden plate itself is to finish at 12" per the directions. I had assumed it would be smaller, to fit on a 12.5" square of fabric? The die cuts 4 fans of either style at a time, but every other fan is flipped so if you were using a lot a directional fabric it might be a challenge. Overall though, because of the speed of the cutting, this die will allow me to make a rather time consuming block much quicker and certainly more accurately.
Thank you so much to all of you that stopped by to enter and to Accuquilt for providing the GO! cutter for this giveaway!
