This patchwork peek is for the Great Cover Up at Sinta's Pink Pinkcushion blog. The Great Cover Up is an ironing board recovering project.
From my before photo, on the right below, you can see I was in desperate need of something a bit more inspiring (and a bit cleaner too!). My after photos is on the left below... I added some oatmeal colored batik fabric with brown dot swirls to a strip of string pieced chocolate brown scraps. This palette will work well in my guest room/sewing room adapting to decor that may change over time.
So thank you to Sinta & Sherri for organizing this project... I think a sewing machine cover to coordinate should be next in the works! Check out the rest of the completed projects at the parade on Sinta's blog!
