This afternoon I finished 9 of the blocks for my Mon Ami Schnibbles.  I like the way it is looking so far and  am happy that I went back and got a medium tone gray fabric to do the background per the pattern.  The plan is to finish the rest of the blocks tomorrow and finish the top on Friday.

I've enjoyed using my 1/4 piecing foot on my Janome Horizon.  This is something I never had before, and instead relied on a piece of painters tape on my old machine.  Hopefully, this will make piecing a bit more consistent and resolve some of my past challenges and errors. (and I now am learning to take out pins though!)

And I finished up two pair of pajamas for William (Kwik Sew 3234) that were my test projects as I was just learning to use my machine.  Projects like these aren't nearly as exciting as a quilting finish, but certainly help in the area of freeing up space.

So that's what's going on here today (and even a moderate temperature (20s) and some sunshine).  What are you working on this Wednesday?

The weather here is beautiful... in the mountains outside of Yosemite! I sat outside at lunch today and made yoyo's with my sunglasses on! Would you like me to blow some sunshine your way?

Your Mon Ami is gorgeous!!

I love the colors of your quilt top.
I think I need to get me one of those 1/4" foots. Sure looks like it would save me a lot of problems too.
