I've got to say my favorite quilting book is probably "The Practical Guide to Patchwork" by Elizabeth Hartman, but I just picked up a Pat Sloan book this weekend & I'm pretty stoked about that one too. :)

My favorite quilting books are 2 that I have from Thimbleberries. Love them!

Kelsey said...

I actually don't have a favorite quilting book as I have never bought one, but I am anxious to get my hands on Elizabeth Hartman's Practical Guide to Patchwork. :)

Peach Rainbow said...

I'd love to have the Modern Basics by Amy!
Thanks for the chance :D

Charlotte said...

This is terrible but I can't give a name. I'm really interested in historical quilts and how fashion has changed so anything along those lines is popular with me.

quiltmom said...

My favorite quilt book is Hmmmmm....
Collaborative Quilting by Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston but I have a few others that I drool over and look to for inspiration- Paula Nadelstern's Kaleidoscope Quilts, Jinny Beyers- Tesselations book, Ruth McDowell - Art and Inspiration and Barbara Brackman's books about the history of Quilting. I also am fond of some of Kaffe Fassett's books and Material Obsession by Sarah Fieke and Kathy.... As you can see the list can go on for awhile. If you are looking for patterns you may want to check out Carrie Nelson's Schnibbles patterns and Kim Brackett's Scrapbasket Surprises.
Thanks for the chance to win such a nice book. I do love Log Cabin patterns. Regards from Western Canada, Anna

I love the first Material Obsession book. I have yet to make anything from it but I find it very inspirational.

There are so many good quilting books...I liked Harriet Hartgrave's Heirloom Machine Quilting book when I was first learning how to machine quilt. Thanks for the chance!
