Friday Finish: Modern Quilt Guild Nametag Swap

Sometime ago the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild drew names to make nametags for each other... last week was the first time I'd been able to make it to a meeting for a while so I revealed the nametag I'd made for Tina.  Tina's URL is Tina McGee Sews so I shortened it up a bit.  (Her last name is not McGee but that is a nickname from her Grandma.)

I use small scale prints from the Flea Market Fancy collection to create the paper pieced mini quilt that I designed in EQ7. (printing the paper piecing foundation papers from EQ was super slick!)  I extended the binding so that Tina can tie it around her neck and adjust the length for whatever she happens to be wearing.

I'm linking up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict for a Friday Finish.

What a lovely idea! You would find it hard to forget someone's name is they all had 'tags' on!
