Every year Vicky makes a point to sew and post about it on New Years Day...the idea that what you are doing on New Years Day will be what you are doing all those days in the New Year. I followed her lead yesterday and worked on some embarrassingly overdo BeeFF bee blocks for Jennifer. She requested word blocks that she will compile into a quilt to help her motivate and comfort her through some challenges this year. I chose to make persevere and serenity for my blocks.
I have to admit while the blocks where time consuming they weren't nearly as difficult as I had imagined...which follows the common advice that is broadly given, just dive in and try...something I need to remember not to forget.
