2010 PROJECTS

I completed several projects for a Pajama Party that I hosted...

My entry for the fall Bloggers Quilt Festival, a zigzag quilt from the Old Red Barn Quilt Along group on flickr.

Mini quilt made with fabrics from Quilt Minnesota 2009.

Part of a Year of LaPetite, my ironing board gets a new & more inspiring appearance.

These potholders were a leaders & enders project using some Kaufman batik scrapbags.

I cut several more reversible oilcloth totes out of this hip faux bois oilcloth only to realize to keep the faux bois print going the right way, the bag now needed to go sideways...yielding a beachy style tote rather than the upright grocery version.

This one is my fav!

These bags are one of my favorite quick gifts to make...I needed to make two more this time.

I used Tanya Whelan's Practical Bag pattern and fabric from Amy Butler's Lotus collection for this quick to make bag.

My partner loves rainbows, hexagons & Kaffe Fassett so I used all of them in this doll quilt inspired by Anka's Treasures Sizzlin Sixties book.

This was a challenge quilt for the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild...each member contributed 2.5 inch strips of polka dot fabrics and we were allowed to add one additional fabric to the top.

This charm bag was featured in BHG Bags, Pillows & Pincushions magazine in 2009.  I thought the black, natural & green palette from Sweetwater's Authentic line was great for seasonal transitions.

This snapshot holder is made using Jean Boyd's Pop-Out Picture Quilt pattern & Aster Manor fabric by 3 Sisters...

Kaffe Fasset Triangular Log Cabins, a collision of colors!

This is my entry for the Spring Bloggers Quilt Festival... I used 39 fat quarters of the OOP SisBoom Girlfriends collection and Pie in the Sky Quilts Flamenco pattern to create this colorful values quilt.

My partner requested something modern in blue, purples, black and white so I opted for these scrappy bento box blocks.

A few kitchen things made from a charm pack for my swap partner...

Kaffe Scarfett

Fabric scarf using Fig Tree Threads Scarfett pattern and some Kaffe Fassett stash fabrics.

Modern Pink Squares Baby Quilt

Modern baby quilt made with Oh Cherry Oh from a Moda Scrap Bag and Pink & White Kona Cotton.

Quilted with my favorite signature style random grid quilting.

My partner liked Amy Butler fabrics & Owls... so that was the starting point for this quilt using Amy Butler Daisy Chain, Cake Rock Beach by Moda and Kristen Doran's owl prints.

This one is for me! (I made 7 for teachers' gifts last year!)

These mini bags were my solution to just too many odd socks at my house...

This mini quilt was designed for the Quilting Gallery's Fall Theme Swap.  Fabrics are Katie Jump Rope by Denyse Schmidt for FreeSpirit & Khaki Kona Cotton.

Let It Snow Batiks fabric by Laundry Basket Quilts for Moda, pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts also.
